Keeping the air in the room fresh is the premise of people's healthy life. People are more and more focused on health and therefore more willing to invest in health while maintaining normal daily life. As a result, air purifiers have quietly entered people's lives, but how to use them correctly to prolong their life is confusing to most people. Below, the editor will answer the obstacles that you may encounter in the process of using air purifiers in daily life. Learn how to maintain it and let us breathe fresh air from time to time.

Working principle:

Air purifiers are usually composed of high-voltage circuits, negative ion generators, fans, air filters, and other systems. When the purifier is running, the fan in the machine circulates the air in the room and the car. After the polluted air is filtered by the air filter in the machine, various pollutants are removed or adsorbed, and then generated by the negative ions installed in the air outlet. The device ionizes the air continuously and generates a large number of negative ions, which are sent out by the micro-fan to form a negative ion flow to achieve the purpose of cleaning and purifying the air.

Common problem:

1. The high voltage indicator light does not light up, and the fan does not rotate. Please check in the following order:

(1) Check whether the fuse is blown. If it is broken, find out the reason and then replace it.

(2) Check whether the coil of the step-up transformer is burnt out. Use a multimeter to measure its resistance. If the coil is open or short-circuited, the transformer of the same type should be replaced.

(3) Check whether the rectifier tube and capacitor of the voltage doubler rectifier circuit are damaged and whether the oscillator stops vibrating. Use a multimeter to test the relevant components one by one, and replace the burned components to eliminate the fault.

2. The high voltage indicator light is on, but the fan does not rotate.

First, check whether the fan blade is stuck by foreign objects and whether the bearing is seriously worn. If there is no abnormality, then check whether the motor lead is open and whether the winding is damaged. It can be measured with a multimeter. If the windings are open or short-circuited, the fan motor of the same specification should be replaced.

3. The negative ion generator ignites between the poles.

Use tweezers to correct the pole piece first, if it still fires, you can move the air purifier to a dry place to try it out, and the fault can generally be eliminated.

4. The negative ion output concentration is low.

First, remove the dirt on the filter screen and electrode, correct the positive and negative plates, if it is invalid, then check the high-voltage generating circuit. Check the step-up transformer, rectifier tube, capacitor, etc. with a multimeter.

How to maintain:

1. Properly control the purification speed of the household air purifier

It is recommended to run the home air purifier at the maximum air volume for at least 30 minutes at the initial stage of operation, and then adjust to other gears to achieve the effect of rapid air purification. When using air purification products to remove indoor air pollutants, it is recommended to keep the doors and windows in a relatively sealed state as much as possible to avoid the reduction of the purification effect caused by a large amount of indoor and outdoor air circulation. The unique numerical display will automatically adjust the wind speed according to the numerical value.

2. Regular cleaning of household air purifier filters

With the use of air purifiers that use the principles of filtration, adsorption, and catalysis, the accumulated dust and bacteria tend to saturate the filter screen, and the purification capacity of the equipment decreases. At this time, it is necessary to clean and replace the filter screen and filter screen. Therefore, the dust filter or the dust collector plate in the machine should be cleaned frequently, usually once a month, and the foam plastic or the plate should be cleaned with soap and dried before use to keep the airflow unobstructed hygienic. When there is a lot of dust on the fan and electrode, it needs to be removed, and it is generally maintained once every six months. Dust on each electrode and wind blade can be removed with a long brush

2.1 The pre-filter (usually the back cover of the case) has been used for a long time, and the pre-filter will collect some dust, which will affect the air intake and the effect of air purification. Therefore, it is necessary to clean the dust with a vacuum cleaner or use a rag Clean up and even wash.

2.2. Filter: Some filters need to be exposed to the sun on a regular basis so that the purification efficiency can be better maintained.

2.3 Deodorizing filter screen: The deodorizing filter screen of a few brands of air purifiers has reached the technical level of the water system, and the purification efficiency can be maintained by washing with water, and the cycle of changing the filter screen can be shortened.

3. Ionizer: It is generally built-in and does not require cleaning. Better ionizers have higher working efficiency.

4. Know how to place it properly when not in use

When the air purification product is not in use, it should be packed in the box after a thorough cleaning and stored in a ventilated and dry place. Usually should pay attention to moisture, so as not to reduce the efficiency or damage due to moisture.

The above are the use and maintenance skills of household air purifiers. After all, the life of the machine depends on the quality of the air purifier itself, and daily maintenance is just the icing on the cake. Therefore, consumers should consider carefully and rationally when purchasing high-quality household air purifiers with rational consumption.
